The ROAR Panic Button Solution does not track employees until they press their button. Live updates of the user’s location are sent to the Alert Console and mobile app.
Smart Beacons are battery-powered so that they can be placed in discreet locations with no cables, plugs, or wires. This includes stairwells, common areas, linen closets, and areas that are known dead zones.
Smart Beacons can be placed in each room as well as common areas, hallways, and public areas. With a range of ~50 feet per Smart Beacon, the number is dependent on the coverage areas and size of property.
All Smart Beacons are equipped with a 3-year battery life. Notifications are sent once the battery are low and can be replaced easily.
ROAR is intentionally designed as a standalone solution. It relies on its own network and does not interfere with the property's network.
ROAR is not dependent on users having a smartphone.
As an additional security measure, the standalone design of our system prevents risks associated with system access or outages.
