Only when in alert state will the location of a ROAR Alert Device be tracked. Live updates of the users location are sent to the Alert Console and mobile app.
Smart Beacons are battery-powered so that they can be placed in discreet locations with no cables, plugs, or wires.
Smart Beacons can be placed in each room as well as common areas, hallways, and public areas. With a range of ~50 feet per Smart Beacon, the number is dependent on the coverage areas and size of property.
All Smart Beacons are equipped with a 3-year battery life. Notifications are sent once the battery are low and can be replaced easily.
The AlwaysOn™ system is intentionally designed as a standalone solution. It relies on its own network and does not interfere with the property's network.
The AlwaysOn™ system is not dependent on users having a smartphone.
As an additional security measure, the standalone design of our system prevents risks associated to system access, comprise, or outages.
